Michael Anchin Glassblower

Michael got his start in glass blowing at the NY Experimental Glass Workshop on Mulberry Street in the 1980s. He became known for this long neck beach glass vases producing over 100,000 that were distributed all over the world. In 1993 he opened his own shop on Elizabeth Street and started producing a wide range of one of a kind vases, bowls and glasses.

Today, Michael continues to focus on colorful organic shapes always expressing the beauty and transparency of glass. He can be found selling his pieces at artisan pop ups in the Hudson Valley.
