Founded in 1643, Trudon is the oldest candlemaker in the world. Originally producing beeswax candles for the Louis XV Court, Trudon starting making decorative candles after the industry revolution. Working in partnerships with renowned perfumers to create unique fragrances, frequently described as “intoxicating”. Trudon's candles are packed in Italian handmade glass jars and finished with their signature gold emblem. Their fragrance line now extends beyond rooms scents and includes personal scents, equally as intoxicating as their renowned candles. Trudon's factory is located in Mortagne-au-Perche where they are committed to the traditional craft of candle making, mixing perfumes and preserving the biodiversity of the regional park and European black bee conservation.
