Green Jalapeño Pepper is native to southern Mexico, it can be found in every kitchen, eaten fresh or dried. It can also be eaten smoked, so we speak of Chipotle pepper. Among the hundred varieties of chili, jalapeño is surely the most common. Jalapeño pepper is a fragrant, fruity chili pepper with characteristic acidity and smoky notes, with a real, but rather moderate spiciness, around 8,000 Scoville units, equivalent to a tabasco sauce.
